Growing up in a family of doctors, Dr. Matangi Upadhyaya always knew that caring for people would be part of her life. After visiting Canada as a child and falling in love with its beauty and warmth, she made it her goal to return one day to live and practice here.
She earned her dental degree in India and later moved to Canada, where she successfully completed her licensing examinations. She has practiced in both Langley and New Westminster, where she focused on delivering patient-centered care built on trust and clear communication.
Dr. Upadhyaya enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, including fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, dentures, and extractions. She is passionate about making dentistry comfortable and understandable for her patients. She is always motivated to add multiple feathers to her cap and never stops learning.
When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll likely find her conquering mountains, swimming, kayaking, shopping, or enjoying time with loved ones.
